About Leanne

I was born in the Charlotte metro area but throughout my life I have lived in Tennessee, Missouri, South Carolina, Texas, Michigan, and Georgia. I have been through large corporate moves (both as a child and as and parent) and local moves. Currently I am living in my third new construction home in Indian Land, SC.

I have a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Michigan and a MBA from Wayne State University. My professional career began at Chrysler/ Daimler Chrysler where I had varying roles within the Property Tax Department. I achieved a Michigan Level 2 Assessor Certification, over 1,200 hours of continuing education in business and real estate appraisal, and was responsible for all property tax aspects for over 80 million square feet of real estate across the country. In this role I developed property valuations and negotiated assessments with tax assessors resulting in win-win solutions that both saved my employer millions in taxes and prevented litigation and costs to the jurisdictions. When my family moved to Georgia, I held roles as a Department Head at the University of Georgia Continuing Education Center and a Financial Program Assistant for the Jeannette Rankin Women's Scholarship Fund.

Twelve years ago, my family relocated to the Charlotte area and I was excited to marry my real estate valuation experience with my first love, architecture, to help clients find their perfect home. I treat my clients as friends and strive to always make the experience fun while I provide them with the service and professionalism that I would want my own family to receive. Buying and selling a home is one of the biggest financial and emotional decisions of our lives! I have been there, and it is stressful on the whole family - including the pets. I am here to help in all aspects of the process. I
have picked clients up from the airport, staged homes for pictures and showings, safely removed and cared for pets during an inspection, coordinated service or on-going maintenance work, helped to pack/ unpack, and stored temperature sensitive belongings in my home. From the first meeting to the closing table and the move-in/ move-out, I am there with my clients every step of the way. 

When I'm not busy with real estate, I am enjoying life with friends and my husband Dan, my 22-year-old son Maxon (Go Tigers!), and my 19 year old daughter Anika (Go Gamecocks!). I am a runner and have completed multiple marathons, half marathons, and even a 70.3 Half Ironman. I am the Running Realtor that my neighbors see out in the heat, the cold, the rain, and the snow. I go the extra mile in my training and in my work.
